This collaboration allows customers to tailor Getac's rugged computers, including laptops, notebooks, tablets, and handheld devices, to specific needs and extreme environments. ProCustom Group provides a range of customization features such as custom I/O ports and connections, 3D mechanical design, and circuit design. According to Getac, Inc. president Jim Rimay, the partnership was formed to provide rapid prototyping and customization for unique applications, with ProCustom Group serving as the preferred partner for these services. In 2018, the company expanded its video recording and software businesses with the acquisition of WHP Workflow Solutions Inc. and the formation of Getac Video Solutions.
