Spartak Plovdiv

Lazarov started his career at
Botev Plovdiv Profesionalen Futbolen Klub Botev AD, commonly referred to as Botev Plovdiv (, ), or simply Botev (within its associated city), is a Bulgarian professional Association football, football club based in Plovdiv. It competes in the First Professiona ...
at age of 7, where he was a goalkeeper at the beganing, before being moved as a field player, and left the academy after 8 years for
Spartak Plovdiv PFC Spartak Plovdiv () is a Bulgarian football club based in Plovdiv, which plays in the third tier of Bulgarian football, the Third League. The club was established in 1947 and folded its senior team in 2016, before being 'refounded' in 2017. ...
. On 18 November 2020, he made his first-team debut at the age of 16 and scored his first goal in a 2–0 win against Borislav Parvomay. He become a leading goalscorer of the team and also a captain at the age of 17.


Fratria

On 8 June 2024, Lazarov announced he is leaving Spartak and later the day revealing he moved to Second League club Fratria Varna. He scored his first goal for the club on 11 November 2024 in a league match against
