Career
He started with cabaret. He was discovered in 1964 by writer and comedian
Jaap Van de Merwe. After seeing him perform in Amsterdam, Van der Merwe hired him and made him participate as pianist to his performances.
After his collaboration with Van de Merwe, he worked with
Wim Kan
