Fahmida Azim ( bn, ফাহমিদা আজীম; b. 1994) is a Bangladeshi-American illustrator and author. Fahmida won the
Pulitzer Prize in 2022 for her portrayal of an escape from a
Xinjiang internment camp.
Early life and education
Azim was born in 1994 to a
Bengali Muslim family in
