Dacia promoted back after only one season spent in the county leagues, then followed a long run in the third tier, no less than 12 years, a period in which the club was ranked mostly in the middle of the table, with two exceptions: 2nd place at the end of the
1982–83 season (10 years later from their previous best performance) and 1st place at the end of the
1987–88 season.
