In June 2025, he also won the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships 400 metres title in Eugene, Oregon in a time of 47.49 seconds ahead of Ja'Qualon Scott. He was named men's track athlete of the year at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Awards.
