According to Street, "Everyday Is Like Sunday" was recorded in his second session with Morrissey.
The song features a six-piece string section, led by violinist Fenella Barton.
It also includes Morrissey's trademark deadpan humor with the line about buying a postcard with the sentiment "How I dearly wish I was not here."
