Early career

Stroo started playing football at the age of five at IVV Landsmeer, where he made his debut on the first team at the age of 16. In the 2012–13 season, Stroo became the top scorer of the

with 35 goals. This earned him a transfer to ZVV Zilvermeeuwen, who competed in the
