History

The channel launched as ET3 (, ''Ellinikí Tileórasi 3'') on 14 December 1988, following the merger of state-owned TV and radio services into ERT, as a single entity. On 11 June 2013, the Greek coalition government (then with

Headquarters

Unlike its national counterparts from Broadcasting House in Athens, it broadcasts from Thessaloniki, due to ERT3 being centered towards Northern Greece, although it still broadcasts nationwide.
