Construction

Construction began in 2011. The bridge was completed on 10 September 2016, and was opened to the public on 29 December 2016. It cost a total of ¥1.023 billion and took five years to build. It was recognized by ''
Guinness World Records ''Guinness World Records'', known from its inception in 1955 until 1999 as ''The Guinness Book of Records'' and in previous United States editions as ''The Guinness Book of World Records'', is a British reference book published annually, list ...
'' as the world's highest bridge in 2018.
