History

Dry Creek railway station opened in 1856. The station was rebuilt in 1982 and a

class fleet now have access to the depot along the 3000 class fleet. Also as the part of the electrification, the station was refurbished in early 2022 during electrification works on the Gawler line. The refurbishment of the station included platform resurfacing, new shelters, seating, wayfinding, and lighting.
