Political career
In 2010, he unsuccessfully ran for the
Świętokrzyskie Sejm from the Law and Justice list. He then organised the structures of the Poland Is Most Important Association in
Kielce

Solidarna Polska, which he left at the beginning of April 2014. In the same year, on the recommendation of the Right hand of the Republic of Poland, he again ran for the regional council from the
PiS list. In the parliamentary elections in 2015, he ran for the Sejm as an independent candidate from the eleventh place on the Law and Justice list in the Kielce district. He was elected MP for the
eighth term of office, receiving 7,475 votes. After the elections, he became a member of PiS.
In the
2019 European Parliament elections, he was elected deputy of the
ninth term. He received an additional mandate in the European Parliament, granted to Poland as part of the distribution of some of the mandates previously filled by

Polish parliamentary election of the same year, he was again elected to the Sejm, receiving 8,186 votes. On February 1, 2020, after Brexit took effect, he was seated as a member of the ninth European Parliament.
In the
2024 European Parliament elections, he was again elected to European Parliament for its
tenth term, receiving 210,942 votes.
