''Dogosé'' is currently preferred, but traditional ''Doghose'' is found in much of the literature. Rarer spellings are ''(Doro) Doghosié, Dokhosié, Dorhossié, Dorhosye, Dorosie, Dorossé'' and, with a different suffix, ''Dokhobe, Dorobé.''
