Habitat: Deciduous and coniferous forest, tracksides, clearings. Flowers visited include white umbellifers, ''Arbutus unedo'', ''Chaerophyllum'', ''Crataegus'', ''Galium'', ''Hedera'', ''Hypochoeris'', ''Polygonum cuspidatum'', ''Rubus fruticosus'', ''Rubus idaeus'', ''Sambucus'', ''Urtica dioica'', ''Viburnum opulus''.de Buck, N.
