Concept
The album's title (as well as the names of the songs) is taken from the then-unpublished ''The Mummery Book'' by Lynch's spiritual teacher, Adi Da Samraj. The line in which the album's name was inspired can be found in the album's liner notes: "Evelyn slapped Raymond on the back with a laugh. 'You must be starved, old friend.
