Early career
With her Parents approval, In the year 2012, Debjani Initially started shooting for a Bengali TV serial, but unfortunately the project got shelved and later on, one of the assistant directors who worked for this serial referred her to the film Director Rajib Chatterjee, who was looking out for someone with the girl-next-door charm and after auditioning several aspirants, They liked Kinni to be perfect for the role and that's how her actual debut began with a film Knockout (2013). The film released on November 29, 2013. She was seventeen at the time.
She worked in Two other Bengali films before stepping into Bengali TV serials.
