Dawn Lundy Martin is an American poet, essayist, and memoirist. She has received the Academy of American Arts and Science's May Sarton Prize for Poetry, a Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Poetry, a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Fellowship in Creative Writing for Nonfiction, and was a 2022 United States Artists Fellow. Martin held the inaugural Toi Derricotte Chair in English at
