David C. Wysong (born March 8, 1949) is a former
Republican member of the
Kansas Senate

7th district. He was first elected in 2004. He resigned in December 2009 and was replaced by

By 1979 he was running an advertising agency and in 1990 he became president of Wysong Capital Management. He entered politics in 1996 serving on the city council of

that year. He was elected to a term as a member of the

Wysong and his wife Kathy are the parents of two children.
