Lim left Mediacorp in May 2012 after some 20 years in showbiz to work at his father's business and spend more time with his family. He has since returned to acting, but in a freelance capacity.
Personal life
Lim married fellow artiste
Evelyn Tan in 2004. Lim left the entertainment industry to help his brother with his business and spend more time with his family. The couple has four children named Kristen, Jairus, Way, and Elliot.
