On 13 January 2016, Lineker and Bux announced they were divorcing, after six years of marriage, the reason given being Gary not wanting more children. As of 2022, Lineker still considers Ella his stepdaughter. Bux gave birth to another daughter, Romy Wren Greenwald, with American entertainment lawyer Nate Greenwald on 8 August 2017. Danielle married Greenwald at a private ceremony at his parents house in November 2017 on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.
