History

Dakhkhinkhan Thana was formed in 2006. The thana was named after ''Dakshinkhan Adarsha Union Parishad''. It was dissolved in 2018 after it was integrated into Dhaka North City Corporation.


Facilities

The former UP had more than 50 masjids, 75 private schools, 10 government schools, many hospitals alongside private owned clinics. The UP had no public recreational centres. There were 5 orphanages. The
