He is the founder of the Melbourne Cough Clinic and practices as a speech pathologist specialising in laryngeal and upper airway disorders, working alongside several Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeons and Respiratory Physicians across Melbourne. Dailan holds a Master's degree in Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, as well as a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of Melbourne. He is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia and a member of both the Australian Voice Association and The Laryngology Society of Australasia.
