. In 2008, the band released their first music album ''Lepetnīks'' ('Butterfly'). Like many other new bands, Dabasu Durovys has taken part in many contests for young bands, with some success in 2007 (Mic Rec bārs Open) and 2010 (Četri balti krekli New Music Contest).The band has also participated in the notable Latvian music festival "Bildes". In 2012 their album ''Styklu Vītā Skaņa'' ('Sound instead of glass') was nominated as one of top 5 best pop rock albums of 2012 in the Annual Latvian Music Awards (''Latvijas Mūzikas Gada Balva'').
