History

The station first signed on the air on April 19, 1992 as Killerbee 92.3. It carried a

format with the tagline "Music Mix is Simply Better". On April 26, 2013, Killerbee 92.3 officially signed off. This station, along with the other Killerbee stations, were relaunched under the Magic moniker (adopted from its parent station) by April 29, 2013. On December 27, 2024, Magic 92.3 quietly signed off for the last time and went off the air for a month. On January 22, 2025, the station returned to the air under management of Y2H Broadcasting Network that owns sister station 88.3 XFM. It temporarily carried the name Uy FM until March 17, when it was dropped and started carrying the tagline ''"Something Hot, Something Red"'' as part of its transition. On May 18, 2025, after GVM entered a sales/marketing agreement with Y2H, Y101 began simulcasting on this frequency.Y101'S "Bootleg Gold" Turns 5
