History

Bandera News Philippines started its FM operations in Puerto Princesa, Palawan and it is owned by former RMN Davao and Brigada Palawan radio announcer and current station manager of Bandera News FM, Elgin Robert Damasco. After several months, the company expanded to different cities and towns across the Philippines. On November 27, 2023, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has issued a cease-and-desist order against radio stations under Fairwaves Broadcasting Network, whose franchise lapsed in 2020.
