The Munster Minor Championship, Munster U16 ‘A’ Championship, Munster U16 ‘B’ Championship, Munster U17 ‘A’ Shield Competition, Division 1A National League and the inaugural Munster U23 Championship! The Rebels opened their All Ireland Accounts with 2 wins. The U23 Side beat Kilkenny 2-16 to 0-8 in a dominant display. Amy Sheppard the standout for hitting 2-6! While the Seniors had a comprehensive win over Limerick by 6-25 to 0-5. Amy O’Connor (1-7), Orlaith Cahalane (2-3), Clodagh Finn (2-3) and Katrina Mackey (1-4) all played their part in opening their defence of the title in which they’ll be going for 3 in a row! The Munster Final against Waterford will remain to be seen on when and where it will be held.. or if it will even take place. The ‘Skorts saga’ forced the game to be postponed. Thankfully though a special congress aproved the motion and if the match goes ahead in the coming weeks the players will most definitely be wearing SHORTS!
