Genera formerly placed in Nolinoideae

Both members of the genus have since been transferred to the genus ''Beaucarnea'' (also a member of the Nolinoideae) after molecular phylogenetic research demonstrated a strong phylogenetic relationship with species of ''Beaucarnea.''
