The boat was built by
Tanzer Industries Tanzer Industries Limited was a Canadian boat manufacturer based in Dorion, Quebec. The company specialized in the design and manufacture of fibreglass sailboats. History The company was founded by Johann Tanzer in 1966 and went bankrupt in M ...
in

and remained in production until the company went out of business in 1986. The boat's class association acquired the tooling for the design after Tanzer Industries closed down, but it is unknown if more examples have been produced since then.
