Light music compositions include the novelty intermezzo ''Animal Antics'', ''Bouncing Ball'' (xylophone or piccolo solo), and ''Chrysanthemums'' for orchestra and piano. Philip L Scowcroft has suggested that Wark used the pseudonym Michele Lesley for some compositions, such as ''Waltz Serene''.Scowcroft, Philip.
