It was best known for its Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train. in 1984 Jack Haley was going from Rhode Island to Iowa, but there was a storm so it had to get delayed and he got dropped off at Kalamazoo Michigan, and this is where he set up his train in paw paw Michigan for two years before moving all of it to walled Lake Michigan The train line in fact was used by former grand trunk westerns Jackson line which went from Jackson, Michigan to Ridgeway, Michigan (Richmond) between 1975 and 1984. All of the train tracks were removed except for the portion that Larry Coe bought, which was a partnership with Jack Haley in 2008 the Michigan star clipper Dinner train made it last excursion on December 31, 2008 before getting rid the line between 2009 and 2012 every single part of the former core line is now the Michigan airline trail, and the West Bloomfield Trail
