St Mary's Church, Cloughton lies in the village, as do two pubs – the Blacksmiths Arms and the Red Lion. It is home to a large conference centre and hotel called ''Cober Hill''. It has cricket and football pitches. The church was demolished in 1831, and rebuilt completely in 1889 and is now a grade II listed structure.
