Irish Citylink is an Republic of Ireland, Irish based subsidiary of Singaporean company ComfortDelGro, which provides bus services between some of Ireland's major cities and towns.


History

In 2010, Citylink contracted the running of its bus services to Callinan Coaches while remaining in control of sales and marketing of its routes. From midnight on the 30 March 2020 Citylink cancelled all its Irish bus services indefinitely as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Services resumed on 31 July 2020 with buses operating at reduced capacity in line with National Transport Authority (Ireland), National Transport Authority guidelines. As of 2022, Citylink was back operating at full capacity in-line with Government regulations and the end of the lockdown periods in Ireland.


GoBus Acquisition

In 2022, Citylink announced the acquisition of Galway based carrier GoBus, bringing their daily departures to over 100 direct, express, and multi-stop services. In 2024, the GoBus brand was discontinued and liveries and uniforms were brought in-line with the overall Citylink brand.

As of October 2024, Citylink was operating on nine routes: * Galway – Dublin City non-stop express (Route 660) * Galway – Dublin Airport non-stop express (Route 760) * Galway - Dublin Airport via Dublin City (Route 761) * Galway - Ballina (Route 430) * Galway – Limerick – Cork – Cork Airport express (Route 251) * Galway – Clifden (Route 923) * Galway – Ballinasloe – Athlone – Dublin commuter (Route 763) * Limerick – Dublin Airport (Route 712X) * Castlebar - Dublin City & Airport (Route 721) *Cork to Dublin City & Airport (Route 707)
