Cikarang Dry Port has been appointed as an Integrated Customs Services Zone with a new international port code, IDJBK. There is no single administrative body at the level of the extensive town of Cikarang; instead, the town covers five of the administrative districts (''kelurahan'') of Bekasi Regency.
