Christopher Patrick Chung was born on 13 July 1988 to an Irish mother and a

. He attended Padua College. Chung first became interested in acting through a school production of ''

He began his studies at university, but withdrew. He was 21 when he decided to take an intensive course at the Ward Acting Studio in
