This ''Chlorochytrium'' sp. was found growing endophytically in the green alga ''Enteromorpha flexuosa''.Morton, O. 1978. Some interesting records of algae from Ireland. ''Irish Naturalists' Journal''. 19: 240 - 242 It is a genus in the division Chlorophyta.
