Ching Arellano, a theater actor who appeared in numerous films and TV shows in the past three decades. He started his acting career in 1977 at the University of the Philippines Diliman where he took up AB Theater Arts and was an active member of the UP Repertory Company under the tutelage of theater director Professor Behn Cervantes. Arellano died of heart failure on Saturday, 12 February 2011. He was 50 years old.
