Chi La Sow

''Chi La Sow '' () is a 2018 Indian Telugu language romantic comedy film directed by Rahul Ravindran marked as his directorial debut. It stars Sushanth and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles, marking the latter's debut in Telugu. Playback singer Chinmayi, wife of Rahul, dubbed her voice for Ruhani Sharma. It is produced by Siruni Cine Corporation and presented by Annapurna Studios. Rahul won the National Film Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Plot

Arjun is an immature 27 year old bachelor who does not want to get married till 5 years from his age. He proudly claims to be a fan of Salman Khan and devotee of Lord Hanuman. He is constantly pressured by his parents to get married, and his best friend and colleague in the office Sujit a middle aged bachelor who desperately wants to get married but because of his age his marriage market has shrunk so he also joins with his parents to get Arjun married for stop making him a mistake. However, Arjun's mom manages to agree with him on the match making to meet a girl. While in a conversation with sujit he shares his dreams to fulfill at least before his marriage i.e He wanna owns a sports car and go on a Europe trip alone and he fears to enter into a marriage because he had failed in relationship at 6 years ago.

Finally, his mother set him up on a match-making with a 24 year old traditional girl named Anjali at their home like a blind date on a night. Arjun confesses his disinterest on the match making. Then Anjali shows anger on him and bothers her mother. Then Arjun asks about her mother, and then she narrates her story.

After Anjali's father death her mother Latha became depressed which leads to bipolar disorder makes her extremely emotional weather she was in happy or sad. Anjali stays along with her mother, sister Anu, and her grandmother. Anjali is the only bread earner to her family. Her maternal uncle lives in Vijayawada checks their wellbeing regularly. Being rejected by various grooms because of her mother's disorder, Anjali's mother depressed more and tried to commit suicide on thinking that she became a burden to her daughters. With a hard struggle, Anjali stopped her mother and decided to accept the proposal whoever groom liked her.

After hearing this, Arjun sympathizes with her. Later, they talk about their interests and past match making experiences. Then Anjali waves goodbye to Arjun and bothers again about her mother. Then Arjun consoled her. Later, Anjali is about to leave Arjun, stops her, and wishes to meet her further. Then she denies his request and asks to say yes or no for the marriage. Then the confused Arjun says yes for the marriage. Then she denies his proposal because of his childish nature and immature thinking, and then she leaves him.

Meanwhile, at Anjali's home, her mother has been hospitalized due to blood pressure. all in a frenzy went to the hospital and forgot to unlock the door. Used this as an opportunity to enter a delivery boy to their home to steal random valuables, and then suddenly, the door has been locked. Meanwhile, Anjali came to know her mother's condition, and she decided to go to the hospital. Then Arjun offered a lift to the hospital. No other option left at midnight, Anjali takes his lift, then he drops her at the hospital in the process, and he forgot to get his phone . Then, in the hospital, Arjun comes along with Anjali to see her mother, and then her family thinks the match has been successful. Then the situation is going out of hands Anjali warns Arjun to leave, or else they may misunderstand him. Later, Anjali wants to go to her home to take the insurance card for paying hospital bills. No option left she has to take help of Arjun to drop her at home. With Arjun's insistence, they both had dinner in a street food corner, and both went to Anjali's home. There feared delivery boy attacks Arjun and makes him lose his consciousness while trying to escape. Anjali caughts him and starts bashes him. Meanwhile, Arjun gains consciousness and alerts the neighbors and comes to stop her. Suddenly, the delivery boy tries to attack Arjun to escape, but the feared Anjali injures him on his head and loses his consciousness. After checking his pulse, they both decided he was dead and feared for the coming consequences.

Meanwhile, the neighbors called cops. Sub Inspector take them into custody. Later, the SI came to know that the delivery boy is a brother in law to one of his constable 402. Then, in the police examination, Anjali tells the truth, but Arjun reciprocates himself as the killer, but he is killed to protect her. After some comical circumstances, SI came to know that the delivery boy is alive and escapes from the ambulance while on travel. He takes it as an advantage to make money out from this situation and demands a ransom from them as he concludes it as murder to clear their names from the case. Then Arjun was ready to give his entire savings of 12 lakhs, which he saved to fulfill his dreams to clear Anjali's name in the case. Then suddenly, the constable 402 entered the station happily declare his brother in law was alive and sent them out. Feeling touched with his mature approach, Anjali falls for Arjun.

Later, they came back to the hospital successfully with the insurance card. Anjali's grandmother became ill for not having proper sleep. Then Arjun went to Sujit's home to get an orange juice at midnight 2'o clock. Meanwhile, the restless Sujit is trying hard to sleep after hearing severe taunts by Arjun's mother. Then Arjun disturbs him and forces him to get the orange juice. Then, in a comical circumstance, he messed up with his lady neighbor. After bearing sevears taunts of his neighbor and her husband, however, Sujit successfully gets the orange juice. Meanwhile, Anjali became disappointed for the sudden disappearance of Arjun and having small talk with her grandmother, Anjali decides to not be in emotional dependence on anybody.

Later, Arjun comes with orange juice along with the restless and distressed Sujit to the hospital. Their Anjali's uncle comes to a sudden visit to look at his sister's condition. There, he notices Arjun and meets him personally and shares Anjali's past. Anjali is an independent, confident, and well matured girl. After her father's death, being the elder daughter, she took the family’s responsibility at the age of 14 and started taking tuitions for her lower grades. Her uncle could not take their responsibility because of his financial position, and he told her about his position. Then, she faced the situation confidently and took it as positive. Later, he recovered in his position and ready to take their responsibility, but Anjali politely declined his support and continued in their life. After hearing this, Arjun fell for Anjali and confidently decided to get her married.

Later, Anjali's mother gains consciousness, and all people visit her. Then, she notices Arjun and feels happy after hearing the matrimonial match has fixed. Later in private she confess to Arjun that she won't become any burden to them and she will leave them after their marriage but Arjun stops her and makes her confident by saying she was the Anjali's strength and she was not a burden to him or his family and he declares that he is happy to marry Anjali.

Later, Anjali became constoned to Arjun after seeing with her mother, who is very happy and in control of her emotions. While talking with Arjun, being an introvert, she unknowingly opens up with Arjun. Soon, some comical circumstances from the hospital to Anjali's home, finally Anjali confesses her feelings on him. Then Arjun proposes Anjali for marriage, and then Anjali accepts the proposal. Then Arjun takes her to the temple to get married immediately, which Anjali gets shocked and tries to stop him from making a hasty decision, but inside, she becomes happy to get married. Before the marriage, Arjun confessed that he was not a virgin, and then Anjali accepted it with an open heart. Finally, in the temple, they both got married in the early morning.

Meanwhile, in the hospital, the sleepy Sujit had slept in the ICU, and doctors thought of him as a patient and started treating the operation theater. Then suddenly, the frustrated Sujit woke up (who was crying for a good sleep) and ran away from the hospital. After knowing the news, Arjun's parents became constoned and fainted because of Arjun's sudden and shocking decision. Later, Arjun's and Anjali's families are happy for their decision, and they marry again . Finally, the film ends with Arjun starting to fulfill his dreams along with his wife, Anjali.
