period. The lithology consists of coarse sandstones with occasional conglomerates and mudstones. Vertebrate paleofauna

The Chenini Member during the Early Cretaceous period was a marsh-like swampy habitat. The most famous dinosaur discoveries made here include Carcharodontosaurus and Spinosaurus. BENTON, M.
