. He directed nearly 100 films between 1912 and 1927. He also appeared in 23 films between 1914 and 1934. He was one of the founders of the
Motion Picture Directors Association.
Beginning in 1914, Giblyn worked with the
Universal Motion Picture Manufacturing Company.
