Actress Jayanthi made a guest appearance in film's climax as Goddess Kaali, and Rajkumar sings ''Maata marakathashyama maatangi madhushaalini'' in her praise. B. S. Ranga also shot the film simultaneously in Telugu as ''Chandrahasa'' starring Gummadi.
