History
After the 2006 National Census, the village of
Gowdin was elevated to the status of a city.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 80,215 in 19,825 households.
The following census in 2011 counted 80,845 people in 22,649 households.
The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 75,443 inhabitants in 23,071 households.
