Johnson attended Davidson High School in

. As a senior, he had 56 tackles and 16 sacks. He committed to the

to play college football.


College career

As a true freshman at Ole Miss in 2020, Johnson played in all 10 games as a
linebacker Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line ...
and had seven tackles and three sacks. As a sophomore in 2021, he started 11 of 13 games at defensive end, recording 33 tackles and 6.5 sacks. He started eight of 11 games his junior year in 2022, finishing the season with 32 tackles and four sacks. Johnson returned to Ole Miss for his senior season in 2023. He was selected to play in the 2024 Senior Bowl.


Professional career

Johnson was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 6th round (214th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.
