The attack

On the evening of Thursday, November 29, 2001, a Palestinian militant exploded a bomb he was wearing on the back part of an Egged bus on its way from Nazareth to Tel Aviv. The explosion occurred near Pardes Hanna, after passing an Israel Defense Forces training base. Three people were killed and nine were wounded, one of them critically. Both the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Fatah's Al-Aqsa Brigades have claimed responsibility for the attack.
