Construction commenced in January 2014. Delays and
cost overruns were encountered after

mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall designed in conjunction with Tensar

First South Yorkshire introducing route X1 under the ''Steel Link'' brand between Sheffield and
Maltby.
