In order to execute further the mechanisms of the said Law, the Government of Indonesia passed the Government Regulation no. 35/2010 which stipulates the titles of the ''Satyalancanas'' that may be awarded, regulates the process of awarding, the manners of wearing and respecting the decorations. There are two classifications of ''Satyalancanas''; 20 ''Satyalancanas'' are awarded for civilians (which also includes members of the Indonesian National Police), and 13 ''Satyalancanas'' are reserved for members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
