Around 780 Jews lived in Byalynichy at the eve of

military occupation from 6 July 1941 until 29 June 1944. 150 Jewish men were killed in September 1941. The remaining Jews, together with Jewish families from nearby settlements in the district, were resettled in a ghetto in the town. On 12 December 1941, the Germans liquidated the ghetto, with the
