Alves used to be in a relationship with singer and actress Julie Anne San Jose from May 2016 to November 2018. The relationship was confirmed by San Jose on January 7, 2017. It was only in January 2019, however, that San Jose publicly confirmed their breakup. Alves wed content creator Chelsea Robato on January 28, 2024 at Santuario de San Antonio Parish Church, McKinley Road, Forbes Park, Makati. Alves was with a white tuxedo while Chelsea wore a world-renowned fashion designer, Francis Libiran gown. Present were Yael Yuzon, as groomsman, Jonas Gaffud, as principal sponsors, Alves' mother, Caridad Sapida, his brother, Arnold Sapida, his sister, Dianne Marie Sapida, Solenn Heussaff, Carla Abellana, Rap Alvarez and Argel Dela Paz.
