2011 Census of India, Bargarwa had a total population of 8,615, of which 4,538 (53%) were males and 4,077 (47%) were females. Population in the age range 0-6 years was 1,002. The total number of literate persons in Bargarwa was 6,816 (89.53% of the population over 6 years).
