. Their ethnonym is ''Báŋjìŋèb'' (pl.; sg. form: ''Báŋjìŋè'').
There are two dialects, ''Kaalɔ́ '' and ''Naabáŋ''. Bangwinji had originally settled in Kaalɔ́ and Naabáŋ in the northern
Muri Mountains, and have since moved down into the plains.
