Scientific publications

Ali has authored over 123 publications in scientific journals. Ali was one of three authors of an article published in 2017 in Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, which was withdrawn after the Editors concluded that the acceptance of this article was based upon the positive advice of at least one illegitimate reviewer report. The report was submitted from an email account which was provided to the journal as a suggested reviewer during the submission of the article. Although purportedly a real reviewer account, the Editors concluded that this was not of an appropriate, independent reviewer. Journal records also indicated that a non-genuine email address was provided for the corresponding co-author and the individual listed as the corresponding co-author did not receive any correspondence from the journal throughout the submission process.Sciencedirect.com
